Hey there! We’re Nafee and Madiha, two Bengali-Canadians from Calgary with a passion for cooking, discovering new flavours, and blending food traditions. For us, ghee isn’t just another ingredient—it’s a way of life. Growing up, we didn’t just use ghee for cooking; it was our go-to condiment. We’d spread it on warm toast, dip flaky parathas in it with a drizzle of honey, and even pour it over popcorn for the ultimate snack.
When we couldn’t find ghee in North America that hit all the right notes—rich, caramelized, and nutty—we knew we had to make our own. That’s how Gheedy-Up was born! Our caramelized ghee, inspired by Nolen ghee from Bengal and made with 100% Canadian butter, is the perfect mix of authentic tradition and local quality.
